Quicktag
About
Quicktag makes it easy to read the metadata of popular fileformats.
It tries to present a simple library interface which you can easily
integrate into your own code.
Quicktag is programmed in C++.
Features
Quicktag is small and young, yet it can already do a lot!
It can succesfully read the most common tags from the following formats:
* MP3 (id3v1, id3v2.3 and id3v2.4)
* OGG
* MP4 (mp4, m4a, etc.)
* WMA
The tags it curently returns include:
* Track
* Title
* Album
* Artist
* Disc number
* Year
* Number of tracks
* Genre
* Comment
Quicktag does not try to convert the data it gets from the files. This is
left to the application code that calls it.
