Mouser
A Simple Game of Cat & Mouse
Mouser is a sprite-based game in which you play a cat (or mouse) and your goal is to do what they stereotypically do: the cat wants to eat the mouse, the mouse wants to eat the cheese and get away from the cat. Initially, you play the cat, trying to catch mice in a room. Later levels will introduce more complexity.
Tutorial
This game was developed to support a tutorial on Python and PyGame, originally published in a series of three articles in Python Magazine in the Summer of 2008. (As of this writing, the original tutorial is still exclusive to PyMag, but it will eventually be re-published online).
As befits its roots, it is starting out as a very, very simple game. Currently, it has only two levels and is just barely playabl
