easympc is a simple client for mpd (http://www.musicpd.org/). It provides a curses text-mode interface which is intended to be easy to use. easympc is written in Python, using the python-mpd client library.
Its features are:
* Pause/unpause, stop/play, go to next/previous song
* Search for songs and add them to the playlist
* Automatically add songs to the end of the playlist when near the end, so the music doesn"t stop
easympc is mostly aimed at situations where you want to see what"s playing and have some basic control. People looking for an advanced mpd client with lots of features might prefer ncmpc.
