Find out how congress people have changes their voting on health care from 1989 to today. Learn where different states stand on abortion.
Using the Sunlight Labs API, the Thomas service of the Library of Congress, and the GovTrack site, this project has accumulated a complete voting history for the last 20 years, including congressional member information, bills voted on, top issues for the bills, and how individual members have voted.
This data has then been aggregated from individual congress members to the state wide level. The issues of the bills have been categorized into 24 high level issues.
Using this data, there is a site which allows users to see different visualizations of the data to learn more about their country and their state.
