Our closed source project THREATS 2.0 uses a custom .NET wrapper for the Open Source stats project R known as RdotNET. RdotNET was developed by Vince McMullin MSc., the RdotNET wrapper enables .NET developers to lock down all assemblies accompanied with R and removes the need to use the StatConnector COM lib. Developers and end users alike do not have to worry about using different versions of R on their PC systems either with the RdotNET wrapper. Your .NET applications can maintain different lifecycles than R. This is optimal for small teams not interested in following the R development cycle and wish to use a static locked down version of R with their applications.
