Core Image Unit implementing the HyperScan (first used in the Thunderscan software) dithering algorithm invented by Bill Atkinson. It is a stochastic halftone filter, basically a modified Floyd-Steinberg halftone. This project is a GPU implementation using Apple"s Core Image framework.
