STED3D: PSF simulation and resolution estimation for STED
Introduction
The STED 3D program is used for STED PSF simulation and resolution calculation with vectorial theory by B. Richards and E. Wolf. Its main functions include:
Calculation of light intensity on any plane includes z-axis or parallel to xy plane;
Calculation of depletion intensity produced by 0-2Pi phase vortex on any plane includes z-axis or parallel to xy plane;
Calculation of residue intensity on any plane includes z-axis or parallel to xy plane;
Calculation of depletion intensity produced any 2-dimensional phase plate on xz plane and xy plane.
Polarization of excitation and depletion light can be chosen freely.
