Mercenary Commander is a free (as in free beer), OSS game for the Android market. The goal is to provide 10 or so story-driven single player missions along with a number of multiplayer maps.
The game itself is turn based strategy, with simultaneous turns. Each player gives orders to his/her units and presses the end turn button, after which all orders are resolved. Goals are to defend or capture certain tiles or eradicate all enemy forces.
The scenario for the game is near future, with the player acting as a commander over mercenary forces hired by a large corporation to protect its interests in a politically unstable environment.
