Open Source Code Samples for Android operating system including samples of Content Providers, Asynchronous Tasks, DatePickers/TimePickers, Notifications, Gallery (Thumbnails), Web access, IntentService/BroadcastReceiver/AlarmManager, Text To Speech, etc. An example of using and accessing a Dialog exists on the Web sample. Help for all samples is available from the menu on the "home" page and for individual samples from the menu on its respective page.
