This project course will use the Android platform, the open source software basis for the so-called "Google phone" (see code.google.com/android). Using the Java-based Android software development kit, the class will build one or more applications supporting the needs of people with cognitive disabilities. Projects may include inclusive games, phone applications, and accessible user interface elements. Collaborative projects with students at Jackson State University and National Central University of Taiwan may be possible. The class will aim to enter the Android Developer Challenge (see http://code.google.com/android/adc.html.)
