Ped-ome is a Java interface utility facilitating hands-free control of SerialOSC enabled monome applications. Usually hands-free control requires monome buttons to be midi-mappable to allow midi foot switch control; this requires the application to include the capability for midi-mapping. Ped-ome gets around this restriction by sending monome OSC commands to the application, allowing non-midi-mapped applications to be controlled too. Ped-ome also overcomes the need for expensive hardware by using the mouse as the foot-controller.
