Using Extended Type means no longer having to rely on the fonts installed within the client browser: headings, pull-quotes and any other salient text can be styled in whichever font is desired.
Consisting of just a 7K Javascript file and one PHP file, Extended Type automatically and dynamically replaces text with an image wherever the browser cannot render the text in the required typeface. It is lightweight, degradable, standards-compliant and requires no configuration.
