The current stable version is Eclipse Evolution 2.9 and was written in the programming language, Visual Basic 6.
Next Build
Solar Eclipse is under development as well and will be the first version of Eclipse to be written in the programming language of Java. Solar Eclipse will be using JOGL for graphics API and JLayer for sound.
