Eco-depot is a web application designed to provide information on the energy use of the Oahu power grid. It uses a combination of Java, Wicket, HTML, and WattDepot in order to bring you information that can help you make ecological decisions in your everyday life.
The Eco-Now page provides you with an up-to-date look at how much carbon is being generated for the amount of energy generated, high carbon emissions are bad, and using Eco-Now you can find out if you should hold back, ration, or use your electricity with less concern.
The Eco-grid page provides you with a statistical view of how energy is generated in simulated power plant data, showing you exactly when your town may be using way too much power.
