The Million Musician Challenge is a project to involve one million people in making music. The method is to develop video games that teach boys to play music. Initially, they can use their computer (QWERTY) keyboard). If they like the games and wish to continue, they can use a midi piano/music keyboard to play harder games.
There are two games so far - Valkyrie Invaders and Portland Piano Lesson. Valkyrie invaders is the later release and has the best game play.
Both of these games are writen in pure Java; the next series will probably use a different language. The games are freely available under GPL licence.
