CONSERV is a spatially-explicit dynamic landscape simulation model designed to evaluate the long-term effectiveness of protected area networks. It is developed to assess forest fire patch dynamics and help determine minimum dynamic area for protected areas. CONSERV was originally developed using Visual Basic 6 but is now being rewritten from scratch using C# and the .NET framework
