WQuant (Wavelet-based Quantification Algorithm for iTRAQ)
Summary
WQuant is an algorithm uses a wavelet-based analysis for identifying and extracting iTRAQ reporter ion signals to achieve quantification.
It is also an integrative part of the OCAP MS data analysis pipeline.
Usage:
The program is stand-alone and does not require any separate installation process. Please simply extract the program and execute "WQuant.exe". The program is compiled in C++ under Microsoft Windows, using Visual Studio 2008. Visual Studio 2008 C++ runtime library is required to run the program.
WQuant has 5 parameters and the syntax is:
WQuant.exe [spectra file] [X!Tandem result file] [iTRAQ multiplex] [X!Tandem E-score cutoff] [Quantification method]
spectra file]: full path and name of the spectra file in MGF format.
X!Tandem result file]: full path and name of the output from X!Tandem.
