PieNovel is an open-source command-line based visual novel engine I coded in Python 3 during my spare time. It is intended for creating custom visual novel-type games, though there are probably a few other things you can do with it as well. PieNovel currently supports player name entry, custom gender-specific pronouns, scripting, and loading files in the system"s default web browser. Sound fun? Read the documentation and take it out for a spin!
