A packaging of SciTE for Windows with an NSIS based installer. This version is aimed to be used with R and Python, and the installer automatically searches for existing installations.
SciTE is a powerful text editor with syntax highlighting for most programming languages. SciTE has a console and you can execute scripts or compile files directly from within SciTE.
Note that since version 2.12, Windows 2000 isn"t supported any more. Use v2.01 if you use this OS.
Installer
The installer uses NSIS and produces very small files. Here is a screenshot.
The installer will warn you if Python or R are not found. Note that you don"t have to install Python and R to get this version
