The Simulator for Virtual Organization Clusters (SimVOC) is a discrete-event simulation system for modeling and testing grid architectures. SimVOC is implemented as a set of extensible Python objects that are scripted to produce reconfigurable experiments containing standard grid architectures, Virtual Organization Clusters, and other designs. Real input traces of the Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) system may be used with SimVOC. These traces are available from the Grid Observatory.
SimVOC is open-source software, made available under the Apache License, Version 2.
