This is a Gimp plug-in written in Python that will convert (and optionally rename) all raw photographs in a given folder into jpeg format and place them in a folder of your choice.
It can at your choice
1) invert negatives
2) apply auto levels
3) apply shadow fill
4) apply a contrast mask
5) apply two kinds of sharpening a) smart sharpen redux and b) refocus
It can also work on a subset of photos or a single photo.
