QIU media queuer comes from a very specific need and evolve into a cool office tool. Here at Thoransoft, our dev team all love music. We have an open floor space and were all listening our own music on headphones. I tought of a internal accessed place where we can all contribute music and all queue the songs we wanted. Qiu was born. Everyone one can queue there songs, see whats coming next. Build there queue list in the train or at home and start playing at the office.
-how it works-
You need to install the compiled or source code on a centralized computer with IIS 6 or 7.
Every media (mp3s, flvs,etc..) could be also centralized in a folder. Qiu configuration section can be scalable and more then one folder could be used.
-Sound Output-
Qiu is basically made of two web part. The queuer and the player. Because of the delays in computer playback, we found that activating the player on only one computer per room works better. We also had team member working fro
