The pBlazASM suite consists of pBlazASM, pBlazMRG, pBlazSIM, pBlazBIT and pBlazDIS.
pBlazASM is a command-line tool to assemble Picoblaze (-3/-6) code in Xilinx, pBlazIDE or extended syntax. The separate merge pBlazMRG tool is available to merge MEM file data in a ROM template.
The enhanced format allows to preset scratchpad contents from constant and string directives. Scratchpad can be in the same RAM as the code if room is available.
(GUI based) pBlazSIM simulates a Picoblaze core using the .lst file output of pBlazASM. pBlazSIM is build with Qt. All other tools just need GCC or even tcc.
pBlazBIT allows you to directly update a Spartan-6 bitstream file, so there is no need to recompile your FPGA design, or use a special JTAG or other partial update loader.
pBlazDIS is a disassembler. It can read MEM files and XDL and NDF clips.
Win32 executables or installers are available at the "Downloads" tab.
