NChop is a tool which would allow a user to arbitrarily send segmented TCP payloads for any TCP session. This can be used to test the security of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSes) or Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPSes). NChop uses libc wrapping to intercept connected socket functions (send(3) and write(2)) of any application and perform the "Session Splicing" technique.
