Feeds.App Lite makes it simple to add Atom and RSS feed content from other sites to your published Movable Type blog.
The plugin currently requires static publishing of the template which includes the Feeds.App Lite tags or feed widget.
Feeds.App Lite was originally created by Timothy Appnel for distribution with Movable Type and Movable Type Enterprise and provide a basic subset of the functionality found in Feeds.App, a commercial plugin for more advanced uses of syndicated content. It is now published under a Artistic/GPL license.
Feeds.App Lite is template tag compatible with its more full-featured counter part, but its underlying mechanics are very different. The two plugins cannot be enabled at the same time.
