Purpose
ranwinmac is a command-line program. It collects all the MAC addresses in a set of IP ranges. MAC addresses can be compared to a whitelist to check compliance. Then it adds the corresponding files to your CVS (or Subversion) and commit them.
If it detects any modification between the new generated ones and the previous ones, it"ll send mails with the diff.
Requirements
Install CVS (TortoiseCVS is fine) or Subversion (TortoiseSVN is fine)
Create repository on server (MAC for example)
Sync this repository on the machine you plan to execute ranwinmac on
cvs.exe or svn.exe must in the path
Installation
Put ranwinmac.exe in any directory of your choice.
Execution
Launch ranwinmac in the CVS/SVN client directory
Remarks
At first launch, ranwinmac will create a file (ranwinmac.ini) in
anwin
