Background: The SCCM system is a vital part of an companies IT infra-structure, and therefore knowing the latest status of system actions such as software distribution or knowing the health of the servers is vital to a system Administrator. As the workforce becomes more mobile and flexible it’s a great opportunity to use modern techniques to allow the Administrator to understand the status of the SCCM system while travelling or at home.
Project: The idea here is that the SCCM system could be turned into an online personality rather like an automated response system or bot. The solution would have access to all the latest SCCM health and status data but would be able to translate this into social networking feeds such as twitter, facebook, and perhaps maintain its own blog.
