ENRICH (European Networking Resources and Information concerning Cultural Heritage) was a three-year collaborative project funded under the EU Content Plus scheme 2006-2009. One of its outputs was a standard TEI-P5 conformant application profile for the description and encoding of European manuscript resources. The ENRICH schema is used internally by the manuscriptorium collaborative cataloguing system also developed during this project, and forms the basis of several other manuscript digitization projects. It is a pure subset of the Text Encoding Initiative Guidelines, with some additional constraints representing the needs of the original Enrich project partners. On completion of the ENRICH project, this site has become the reference site at which we will maintain both the schema defined for the ENRICH Project itself, and subsequent developments of it.
