About
TwainPunch is a simple scanning utility that listens to WIA-hardware events (incl. device attached/detached events).
As the name implies Twain is used to communicate with the scanner. A WIA interface will follow later on.
The scanned image can be:
* saved as lossless image (png/tiff/bmp)
* transformed to a text file (using TesseractOCR)
* send to a printer (not fully implemented, does nearly nothing atm)
TwainPunch is developed using Visual Studio 2010 Express and the Windows SDK 7.1.

Updates
02/09/2010 Its been a while but a new TwainPunch version is out. No new features on the program itself only some very minor bugfixing. Switched to Windows SDK 7.1 so now you can download it in both a 32 and a 64bit version. Be warned though - 64bit version is totally untested because my scan
