Stories (novels, movie scripts, etc.) can be hard to compose and keep all the details straight. This tool provides an environment to visualize the components of your story for better plotting.
Each indivisible component (atom) of your story (usually a scene although you could go as fine-grained as you like) is attached to a node on the workspace. Each node has a title (shown as part of the node in the layout area), tags, text and links. Tags are keywords which help you organize the nodes. The text is the actual story text. Links show the attachment of the atom to others.
There are two kinds of links, advisory and flow. Advisory links are like tags, they let you attach one atom to several others as a cross reference. Flow links indicate where the story flows from the atom to the next. When you are satisfied with your story, you can export along the flow links to a text file which can be edited and polished in another program, like Word or FinalDraft.
