Introduction
It is a command line tool in Linux which generates xml file in /usr/share/backgrounds/xxx/ folder. After generates the xml file, you can select it in your desktop background configuration interface.
How to use
Installation
cp slidebg-gen /usr/local/bin/
Generates xml file
Gnome uses an XML file to contain the configuration information necessary to run the backgrounds as a slide-show.
Now we has some images in /usr/share/background/cosmos, The "cosmos" folder name can be any name.
Now we generates xml file using these images.
slidebg-gen 30 /usr/share/backgrounds/cosmos/
The first argument "30" is duration time in munites. The second argument is image folders.
Selecting the Completed XML File in GNOME
To activate your new background:
Right-click on your desktop to select "Change Desktop Background"
