Windows XP and Microsoft Image Suite use custom EXIF tags when adding metadata to JPEGs. These tags are: XP Title, XP Subject, and XP Comment. Standard EXIF and IPTC tags are used by iPhoto and other photo library software, so this data is lost when importing your photos. This script will copy the existing "XP" tags to standard IPTC tags which will be imported by iPhoto.
Current Version: ALPHA-1
This version is my initial stab. It "seems" to work. It is a command line tool written in Tcl and requires the ExifTool by Phil Harvey. Be sure to back up your photos before you use this script.
