The client was written specifically for the .NET framework and hence should work perfectly on WinXP and Vista.
After some tweaking and re-writing I"ve got it working reasonably well on the Mono framework (if you are playing on Linux or OS/X you will need to download and install Mono - unzip to a folder and from the bash prompt "mono LcogClient.exe
