The primary goal of the project is to allow the open-source community to contribute and maintain patches to popular open-source software libraries that allow them to be built with the CMake build system. This is for a variety of reasons documented in the CMakePortsPlan.
The list of currently available ports is on the AvailablePorts page. Not all have been released to the downloads section.
