The aim of this program is to create a decentralized instant messaging system that requires no central server for logging in. This program will also attempt to be portable while still using a public key cryptography system.
The program will make use of JXTA libraries, an existing open source messenger GUI (eg, Pidgin), and a small footprint cryptographic system.
