Bu (Pronounced B-U) is a convenient, simple to use, yet
powerful incremental command line backup tool for Unix based
operating systems such as Linux or BSD. It is designed to
backup files to other file systems as opposed to backing up
to tape like traditional backup systems. The backup file
system may be local, an NFS mount, or a remote file system
accessible via ssh or rsh (currently supported by the new
rbu utility which uses rsync and will eventually replace
bu).
