amd-spl is a stream programming library based on ATI Stream technology. This library provides a stream programming runtime based on ATI CAL (Compute Abstract Layer). While CAL is a low level, hardware oriented library, amd-spl is designed to encapsulate the hardware details and to provide a high level, software oriented library to software developers.
Also, this library will provides some common general purpose computing algorithms such as sorting and math functions.
This project aims to lower the threshold for beginning CAL developers and is going to provide some common functions for ATI Stream developers, which will making ATI Stream programming easier.
