Introduction
KWExT is a keyword extraction tool for corpus exploration. It extracts keywords (and key n-grams) using the log-likelihood and chi-square method. Additionally, key-keywords can be calculated (using Scott"s Wordsmith method). There was a presentation about KWExT at the 2009 Corpus Linguistics Conference in Liverpool (see here for an abstract).
Platforms
Currently, the tool has been tested on Mac OS (10.5) and Linux (Ubuntu 9). Binary files (produced using the Perl Packager tool) are provided:
