These tools are derived from the actual demand(so may not meet your needs perfectly), mainly implemented in Perl, to facilitate our day-to-day management of servers and maintenance.
Most of them are portable, tested on RHEL AS 4 & FreeBSD 6.

SYNOPSIS:
mf.pl: monitor file change and output the last part of file, just like the tail(1), extended and much more user-friendly.
monpro.pl: monitor system run status, mainly concern of all the process of spending the resources (memory, CPU) as well as the resource consumption of individual users.
