Parallel Sorting Assignment done as part of the Course - Introduction To Parallel Algorithms and Parallel Programming(CprE 526 at Iowa State University, Fall 2008).
The problem statement can be downloaded. The test files are too big to be downloaded.
A test case with 6 files and 8 records per file can be downloaded to test the program.
Changes will be need to be made and recompiled if the number of files and number of records per file are changed.
The following variables are important:
TOTALFILES - Total Number of files;
numRec - Number of Records in each file;
files - 2D array containing file names to be read;
