This powerful Eclipse plugin brings your favorite editor in the place of the eclipse editor. This way the user has a choice among several popular editors and the built-in eclipse editors. But your editor must support an interface that follows Netbeans external editor protocol (More..) to be able to use it through our plugin.
As of now, Vim and XEmacs only have this interface. More editors can be integrated as well although the External Editor team is focusing on the above two famous editors.
