There is lot of confusion around using GWT with external application servers.
The instructions available on various sites are outdated as deployment has changed with newer version of GWTs.
This project uses GWT 1.4.1
This will also show how to deploy and communicate with servlets (deployed in external app server), debugging servlets and GWT client code and using ORM framework for database work.
Eclipse will be used thru out for editing and build environment. http://www.eclipse.org
