Music Memory Game
We set out to build an enjoyable game to be played between two users on a PC. The objective of the game is to test the ability of a person to be able to keenly recognize musical notes and reproduce them from memory. After deciding on one of the 3 available difficulty levels, the first player (A) plays a sequence of notes on the computer, which the second player (B) listens to, without directly looking at the screen. Now in B’s turn, he has to reproduce the exact same sequence of notes within a time limit T. If B’s sequence is correct, then B is awarded 1 point. If either B’s sequence is wrong or B is out of time, then 1 point is awarded to A. The game then continues with the role of the players reversed. At the end of the game the player with the most points wins.
