prfectBLAST: PoRtable Front End for the Command Terminal BLAST+ stand alone suite.
prfectBLAST is a multiplatform (MS Windows, Mac OS X, Linux) graphical user interface (GUI) for the stand alone BLAST+ suite of applications. It allows researchers to do nucleotide or amino acid sequence similarity searches against public (or user-customized) databases locally stored. It does not require any dependencies or installation and can be used from a portable flash drive.
