When you have multiple web frontends with mod_proxy_balancer, it can be difficult to have a global view of all information given by the balancer manager page.
ACM provide an easy way to view all information of all your frontends from one place. It is also possible to set values on all nodes with only one command.

Presentation
mod_proxy_balancer is mostly used inside a virtual host with a server name. A server can contains multiple virtual hosts and you can have any number of servers. All of them constitute a cluster.
Of course, you can configure any number of clusters !
