This project started as a 7DRL (7-day roguelike). An archive of the 7DRL version has been posted on the downloads page just for the memories. Adventures of 5 Nachos Awesomeness is a network multiplayer roguelike that consists of a graphical client (written in Ruby) and a server (written in Erlang).
Current Activity (last update 07/25/2011)
The basic combat logic is done, and monsters are displayed in the ruby client! Some tweaking is still needed on the stats to get the difficulty just right based on the party. Currently, the server does not add any items to the map yet, as these are not fully implemented on either the client or server. An iOS client is also under development.
7DRL Result
Well, we didn"t get it to the point where we wanted, but we ended up with something that worked and was very awesome :) In 7 days, we created a working client and server. The client (written using rubygame; and Dan never touched Ruby before the 7DRL) is actua
