Main idea behind Executable DMS Workflow is to integrate behavior of the DMS solution and workflow solution. This project should provide context for the process.
Context for process represents reason for creation of document. Behind each manipulation with some document there must be some kind of process. If document is created, changed or deleted out of the process, it means that there is no reason at all to have such document. Why would one create any document if it has no purpose. Context for process tells us who and why wants to perform some operation on document. This part gives the sense to the creation of document. When thinking of context, we can think of role. To be able to perform operation on document, start some workflow of documents, one has to be in the context of some role.
