So far as i know,there are many network simulators can achieve the goal of simulate the frame layer,the packet layer.But none of them are easy to learn for the beginners,just like NS,etc.The Cisco PacketTracer is the kind of simulator suits the requirement,but it is not an Open Source Software.We intend to create a simulator easy to use and have the main functions PacketTracer provided.In that way,we can design the network experiment and create or modify the Wizard to instruct the user to finish the experiment.It is especially useful for the teachers who teach network in college.
