Draagon Web ii
The Web Integration Infrastructure, Web ii, proxies all HTTP traffic from the web clients to the back-end web applications. In this manner it can manipulate the information in real-time to provide a consistent web framework and the ability to implement Single Sign-On, UI consistency, security, and shared services in an easy manner. The web developers do not need to learn any new skills above and beyond what they needed to build the web applications in the first place. They are not forced to use a specific language or web development platform, but are instead able to use any language they desire. This architecture also creates a more modularized web environment, where each group can own their web application and it can be developed in any language and run on any server. This is a great improvement over trying to get multiple departments to agree on a single standard and develop a single megalithic web application.
