The workflow apis of Alfresco are not secured (/api/task-instances and /api/task-instance GET and PUT methods) allowing to be executed by non admin users for any task and authority. This customization is meant to resolve that by overriding the corresponding web scripts with the new classes.
Just download the jar from the downloads area and place it in WEB-INF/lib and edit the WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/web-scripts-application-context.xml for using your beans. Comment the corresponding old ones and add in its place:
